Enhanced Cost Tracking
Improved transfer cost calculations to reflect actual bytes transferred, including:
- Egress costs
- Retrieval costs
- File retry attempts
- Canceled jobs
Cost tracking now accounts for all data movement activities, providing more accurate expense reporting than initial estimates. Viewable in Job Details view and Reporting section
This enhancement ensures you see the true cost of data transfers under a job detail view and under the reporting section, which may differ from initial estimates due to factors like file retries.

Storage View with Folder Navigation - Beta
Better error handling when browsing storage, providing clear user notifications for permission issues or accessor problems
GraphQL API Field Deprecation
- As announced previously, fields marked for deprecation (with removal date of 2024-12-01) have now been removed from the public GraphQL API
- This change prevents new integrations from being built on deprecated fields
- Action required: If you're using any deprecated fields in your integration, please update to use the current supported fields

Important Notice: Local Agent Deprecation
CloudSoda will end support for local agent deployments in version 25.03:
- The local agent combined with CloudSoda controller will no longer be supported starting with version 25.03
- Customers using local agent must transition to a dedicated agent deployment
- Migration required: Current local agent users should plan to deploy a dedicated agent before version 25.03
- Timeline: Support ends with the release of version 25.03
This change ensures better performance and reliability for all CloudSoda deployments. We recommend planning your migration to dedicated agent deployment ahead of version 25.03 to ensure uninterrupted service.
