A CloudSoda deployment consists of the CloudSoda Controller and CloudSoda agents. The CloudSoda Controller is the Web Portal and APIs that users interact with directly, while the agents are external application clients that interact with the data storage. The CloudSoda Controller can be deployed in your environment (CloudSoda Server) or ours (CloudSoda SaaS). For instructions on setting up and configuring the Server Controller please see Deployment Guide (Server).
SaaS Deployment Process
Prerequisites:
A. Review the CloudSoda Security White Paper, specifically the “Data Movement” and “Communication” sections to ensure the appropriate network ports are open. Outbound ports UDP 7498/7499 are required to be open to allow the CloudSoda Agents to connect to the CloudSoda Controller.
B. Review the CloudSoda Reference Architecture Guide and ensure there is a host(s) for the CloudSoda Agent(s) are available for configuration.
Step #1: CloudSoda will send you a Welcome Email to start the deployment process.

Step #2: Go to the support portal and create an account
Step #3: Click the CloudSoda form link in the email to start the deployment process.

Step #4: The CloudSoda team will email you a login URL, username, and password to log in to your CloudSoda Controller.
