A CloudSoda deployment consists of the CloudSoda Controller and CloudSoda agents. The CloudSoda Controller is the Web Portal and APIs that users interact with directly, while the agents are external application clients that interact with the data storage. The CloudSoda Controller can be deployed in your environment (CloudSoda Server) or ours (CloudSoda SaaS). The specs for the CloudSoda Controller can be found in the CloudSoda Reference Architecture Guide
Deployment Process:
Step #1: CloudSoda will send you a Welcome Email to start the deployment process. CloudSoda
CloudSoda Server Sample:Step #2: If you are not running CloudSoda SaaS, you are required to create a VM, or cloud server instance or provision a physical server with the aforementioned specs before clicking on the link at the bottom of the email.
Step #3: Click the CloudSoda form link in the email to start the deployment process.
Step #4: If deploying CloudSoda Server, once the form is submitted the CloudSoda team will email you a script to run on your server which deploys the CloudSoda Controller.
Step #5: The CloudSoda team will email you a login URL, username, and password to log in to your CloudSoda Controller.
