Welcome to CloudSoda! This article is designed to help you get up and running with CloudSoda as quickly as possible. We’ll focus on several key steps: creating new storage, attaching it to an Agent and an Accessor, enabling the storage, and creating your first Job to transfer data to and from the storage. For detailed guidance on all of CloudSoda’s features, refer to the CloudSoda Quick Start + User Guide Overview.
Creating New Storage
After logging into CloudSoda, the first step is to create and configure your storage. For detailed instructions, refer to Managing Storage.
Attaching Agents and Accessors
Once your storage is created, you’ll need to install an Agent, then you need to create an Accessor.
To do this, please see Managing Agents, followed by Managing Accessors.
Enabling the Storage
Once the Agent is installed, the Accessor is created, and both are attached to the storage, the next step is to bring the storage online. To do this, follow the steps outlined in Managing Storage.
Creating a Job and Transferring Data
Now that your storage has been added and enabled, you're ready to perform a Quick Transfer to transfer data to and from the storage. To get started, follow the steps in Creating a Quick Transfer.
